Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support patients with medication administration and monitor health conditions in accordance with care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
- Engage residents in social activities and behavioral management to promote mental well-being and independence
- Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or undergoing hospice care
- Support transportation needs by driving clients to appointments or outings safely and responsibly
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents or clients
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques, including medication administration and first aid certification
- Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, or senior care is highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for caregiving duties
- Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude toward diverse populations
- Valid driver’s license for driving responsibilities and reliable transportation
- Willingness to undertake training in behavior management and caregiving best practices
