Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our property. Duties
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all areas meet established cleanliness standards and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures to optimize efficiency and service quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, and laundry operations to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage Hamper product stock rotation.
- Coordinate with other departments to address special requests or maintenance issues promptly.
- Foster a positive team environment through motivation, feedback, and recognition of outstanding performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar hospitality role with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of janitorial practices, cleaning chemicals, safety standards, and sanitation protocols.
- Experience with hospitality operations, including guest service standards and quality assurance processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Previous experience using housekeeping management systems or related software is a plus.
