The role is for a Customer Service/Kitchen Assistant, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for our guests and ensure smooth kitchen operations. In this dynamic role, you'll be the friendly face greeting customers, taking orders, and providing exceptional service, while also supporting food preparation and kitchen tasks to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Your proactive approach will contribute to a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more!
Duties
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and beverages with enthusiasm
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed diligently to uphold hygiene and quality
- Manage cash register transactions, handle payments efficiently, and provide correct change
- Support upselling efforts by suggesting menu items or specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas by following proper sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods and assist with inventory checks as needed
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude
- Experience in upselling or promoting menu items to enhance customer satisfaction is advantageous

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
