Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Manager to lead our daily operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee team management, streamline processes, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster teamwork, and uphold our commitment to excellence in supporting heavy machinery maintenance and servicing.
Duties
- Managing daily operations: Overseeing routine business activities to ensure smooth workflow.
- Improving processes: Identifying inefficiencies and implementing changes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Resource management: Allocating staff, equipment, materials, and budgets effectively.
- Supervising employees: Hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating team members while fostering a positive work environment.
- Quality control: Ensuring products or services meet company and customer standards.
- Budget and cost management: Monitoring expenses, controlling operational costs, and helping achieve financial targets.
- Health, safety, and compliance: Ensuring the organization follows relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Performance monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing operational data, and preparing reports for senior management.
- Cross-department coordination: Working with departments such as finance, sales, human resources, and supply chain to ensure organizational objectives are met.
- Problem-solving: Responding to operational issues, resolving bottlenecks, and managing risks to minimize disruptions.
- Lead and supervise teams across multiple departments to achieve strategic goals
- Develop and implement efficient workflows, ensuring timely completion of maintenance projects
- Manage retail and sales operations, including merchandising strategies and customer engagement
- Oversee administrative functions such as reporting, documentation, and compliance adherence
- Maintain excellent communication with team members and clients through effective phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Monitor performance metrics, conduct regular team meetings, and provide coaching to enhance productivity
Experience
- Proven management experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a retail or industrial environment
- Strong background in team management, sales management, or retail management with a focus on operational excellence
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate communication across diverse teams and clients
- Demonstrated success in merchandising, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills coupled with administrative experience to handle complex workflows effectively
- Supervising experience in heavy machinery or equipment servicing is a plus but not mandatory
- Sales and marketing experience is advantageous

Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm
