We are seeking an energetic and dependable self-employed delivery driver with their own van to join our dynamic logistics team working for our client Inpost/Yodel. Responsibilities
- Safely operate your own van to deliver packages across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Follow delivery routes to maximise productivity and minimise delays
- Communicate clearly with customers during drop-offs, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Handle packages with care, ensuring accurate loading, unloading, and secure transportation
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each trip
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, with a strong track record of safe driving practices
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;2 year driver experience preferred
- Experience in commercial driving or operating larger vehicles is advantageous
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and ability to lift heavy packages safely
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps efficiently in various locations
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
Rewuirments
- Start time 7/8 am
- Deliver 100-120 stops
- Same routes everyday - so you can get used to your delivery area
- Use the app to complete your deliveries
