Auto De-topper Operative (Night Shift)
Shift Pattern: Night Shift – 18:30pm to 06:30am
Salary: £33,024 per annum
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and technically capable Auto De-topper Operative to join our warehouse operations team on a night shift basis. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining automated de-topping systems, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate stock handling, and adherence to health and safety standards in a cold storage environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Duties
- Operate and maintain the automated D-Topping platform, ensuring continuous workflow and minimal downtime
- Monitor system performance and escalate technical issues where required
- Carry out basic operational maintenance and troubleshooting
Requirements
- Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence
- Health & Safety Awareness Training
- Previous experience working in a cold storage environment
- Automation or technical certification (desirable but not essential)
- Experience withgeneral operational maintenance
- Ability to work effectively in a shift-based, night role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
