Precision Group is an established, growing construction business specializing in residential be-spoke new builds, commercial fit-outs, and extensions. We take pride in delivering high-quality projects on time and to budget. We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to provide dedicated, close support to one of our Senior Project Managers, ensuring the flawless execution of general business operations and project logistics.
The Role
In this position, you will serve as the Project Manager’s right hand. You will be responsible for handling the daily administrative workflows, financial data tracking, and communication lines that keep our projects running smoothly. This is a mid-level role suited for someone with moderate construction office experience who can confidently manage tasks independently without needing constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Support: Act as the central point of contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and clients under the direction of the Project Manager, from first call to completion.
- Financial Administration: Raise purchase orders, match invoices, track project expenditures against the budget, and process subcontractor valuations.
- Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate, up-to-date project folders, meeting minutes, action logs, and client variations.
- Timeline Coordination: Monitor project programmes, chase material delivery dates, and issue site readiness packs for subcontractors.
- Compliance Handling: Ensure all supplier insurances, RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), and health & safety sign-offs are logged and compliant before site entry.
About You (Required Skills & Experience)
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of administrative or coordinator experience within the UK construction, fit-out, or housebuilding sectors.
- Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel). Experience with construction project management or ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities for a fast-paced construction workload.
- Communication: Confident, professional verbal and written communication skills to handle contractor disputes or supplier tracking politely but firmly.
- Transport: A valid UK driving licence is preferred for occasional visits to local project sites, if ever required.
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
