Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Live-In Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients’ own homes. This role involves living with the client during your placement, offering both practical support and companionship to help them maintain independence, dignity, and comfort.
Duties
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Support with medication reminders and basic health monitoring
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and safe moving & handling
- Carry out light household duties (cleaning, laundry, shopping)
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings where needed
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
Qualifications
- Previous care experience preferred (domiciliary or live-in)
- Caring, patient, and reliable nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Basic understanding of safeguarding and care standards (training can be provided)
- Willingness to live in a client’s home during placement
