Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our small childcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with young children, supporting their development and learning in a nurturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages growth and exploration. Prior experience in nursery settings or early childhood education is highly desirable, along with strong communication skills and a caring attitude.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical well-being through attentive care and guidance
- Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members through effective communication
- Lead by example in demonstrating management and leadership skills within the nursery setting
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changing, and outdoor play
- Support the implementation of curriculum frameworks aligned with early childhood education standards
- Contribute to team meetings and ongoing professional development activities
Experience
- Previous experience working with children
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Level 3 qualification in early years
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to engage effectively with young children and their families

We are a new 30 place small nursery and are currently looking for part-time and full-time workers all year round as we take on more children in our brand new setting. Salary is depending on your experience.
