Summary
As Site Manager, you are accountable for the performance and long-term success of our COMAH site in Flintshire, leading Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), operations, financial performance, quality, and customer satisfaction. This leadership role requires strategic vision, operational excellence, and a strong people focus. You will shape the site’s future including improved competitiveness. The role calls for strong operational leadership and the ability to manage people, processes and performance.

Main Responsibilities
Lead the site with full responsibility for EHS, production, quality, financial performance, and customer satisfaction
Ensure safe operations and drive compliance, incident prevention, root cause analysis as well as preventive actions
Develop and execute the site strategy including operating reviews, facility planning, and budgeting aligned with business priorities
Drive Operational Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost competitiveness, quality and reliability
Manage site resources effectively, including workforce, maintenance, and materials
Work closely with local, regional and global Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to resolve issues and improve performance
Build high-performing teams
Represent the plant externally, maintaining strong relationships with regulatory authorities, community leaders, and industry stakeholders
Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively with commercial functions to identify and drive new business opportunities are an advantage
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related discipline preferred
Strong leadership experience in chemical manufacturing or similar process industries (agrochemical or crop nutrition experience of advantage)
Proven track record of delivering strong EHS, operational, and financial performance
Experience in managing site budgets and driving site KPIs
Solid knowledge of chemical or nutrition plant processes, engineering systems, and plant functional operations
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and S&OP processes
Ability to lead initiatives, drive change, and to build engaged, accountable teams
