A returning Arthur’s House client is looking for a reliable, experienced and proactive part-time nanny to support their family from September. The role is caring for two girls: a 4-year-old starting Reception and a 15-month-old attending nursery. Both settings are close to the family home, with school and nursery around a 5-minute walk away.
This would suit a warm, mature and dependable nanny who is confident with toddlers and school-aged children, and who is happy to support the family through the busy after-school routine.

- Location: Clapham South / Abbeville Road area, SW4
- Children: Two girls, aged 4 years and 15 months
- Start date: Ideally early September; latest preferred start around the week of 14th September
- Days: 4–5 days per week (depending on nanny’s preference)
- Hours: Approximately 2:30/3:00pm to 6:30/7:00pm
- Total hours: 20–25 hours per week
- Salary: Up to £25 gross per hour, depending on experience
- Contract: Minimum 1 year, with a 4–6 week notice period
- Driving: Not required

Role & Responsibilities
The nanny will be responsible for the afternoon routine, including:
- Collecting the children from school and nursery
- Providing warm, engaging and confident care through the afternoon
- Supporting dinner, bath time and the early evening routine
- Preparing simple meals or snacks for the children
- Helping with light child-related tidying and organisation
- Occasional shopping or ad-hoc family support as needed
- Working alongside the parents when they are at home, while also being confident to take sole charge when required
The children’s school and nursery are very close together and within walking distance of the family home, so no driving is required.
Candidate Requirements
The family is looking for someone who is:
- Experienced with toddlers and young children
- Mature, reliable and dependable
- Confident taking sole charge of a 15-month-old
- Warm, nurturing and safety-conscious
- Proactive and happy to help with light household tasks related to the children
- Organised and able to manage the after-school routine calmly
- Flexible where possible, as the family may be able to work around the right candidate’s availability
Pay: Up to £25.00 per hour
