Delivery Driver Wanted — Elite Laundry, Bournemouth
Fancy a job where no two days smell the same? (In a good way, we promise.)
Elite Laundry is on the hunt for a reliable, friendly delivery driver to join our team and keep our van round running like clockwork. We handle laundry and dry cleaning for a great mix of local businesses and account customers across Bournemouth, and you'll be the face they see every week.
What you'll be doing: Loading up, hitting the road, and delivering freshly cleaned laundry with a smile. You'll build proper relationships with our regulars, sort out the odd query on the doorstep, and take pride in getting everything where it needs to be, on time, every time.
What we're after: A full, clean UK driving licence, a cheerful attitude, and someone who's happy with the physical side of the job (there's a fair bit of lifting). Local knowledge of Bournemouth is a real bonus. No laundry experience needed, we'll teach you everything.
What you'll get: Pay rate to be agreed, 20 - 50 hours per week, and a friendly, down-to-earth team who'll actually be glad you turned up.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles.
- Load, secure, and unload goods with care, ensuring items are protected during transit
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery details and address any issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records for each shipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally and addressing their questions or concerns during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean(ish) driving record
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safe driving practices
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages and securing cargo
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or evenings if needed
