We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other critical components.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
- Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £38,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
