Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to uphold quality standards and presentation
- Support the supervising team in daily operational tasks, including managing customer flow and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across all areas of the restaurant or café
- Help with food production processes, including ingredient handling and portion control
- Supervise junior staff members during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient service
- Contribute to team management by assisting in training new staff and fostering a collaborative work environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or serving within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
- Previous supervising or team management experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate others
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, hotel service standards, or barista duties is a plus
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
