Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated routes. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely drop-offs
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
- Deliver packages to various customers across multiple locations, maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required, ensuring accurate documentation of each drop
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, mileage, and fuel consumption
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, particularly with multi-drop routes
- Commercial driving experience with a valid driver licence
- Familiarity with warehouse operations or logistics environments is advantageous
- Experience in heavy lifting and manual handling is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and work independently under pressure
