Factory Lead Supervisor – For Steel Fabrications company.
Qualifications required either:
- HNC/HND in an engineering subject
- Degree in a either general/mechanical/production engineering
- Practical and theoretical apprenticeship in an engineering background.
Skills Required:
- General Steel fabrication. With good knowledge of welding standards.
- Good Knowledge in engineering.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to ensure Health and safety throughout the factory is up to date and ensure workshop safety is always in place.
- Carrying out quality checks on first offs on components
- Assisting with ISO 9001 requirements including internal audits
- Carrying out quality checks
- Must be able to use manual/NC steel fabrication machines with good knowledge all round of both fabrication machines (Press brakes/ guillotines/punches/tube benders etc.) and machining(Lathes Milling machines etc)
- Must be able to lead and manage a team of at least 20 workshop employees.
Not essential but would be beneficial to the role:
- Ability to use CAD software
- Ability to use CNC machines

Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
