We are looking for an Asset Manager to work as part of the Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will place a huge emphasis on customer service and be passionate about delivering a first-class experience. As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for dealing with all management aspects of your allocated property portfolio.
Working in a team you will be required to build excellent relationships with Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors. You must be an excellent communicator who is used to maintaining relationships with a diverse range of people and must have a ‘get stuck in attitude’.

Your responsibilities will include
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance and repairs across student, professional and social care properties
- Complete a broad range of general maintenance tasks including joinery, basic plumbing, basic electrical works, painting and decorating within your level of competence
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, aiming to resolve issues on the first visit wherever reasonably possible
- Take pride in workmanship and ensure completed works meet loc8me property standards
- Respond to reactive maintenance issues in line with operational priorities and agreed timescales
- Identify additional maintenance issues while attending properties and report these for follow-up where required
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and within your level of competence
- Use tools, equipment and the company vehicle responsibly and in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain a professional, friendly and respectful manner when attending occupied properties

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver a high-quality service to all customers
- The ability to manage tasks from start to finish and see projects through to completion
- Experience in general maintenance
- A self-motivated individual who can work independently and take initiative
- The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
Details
- Hours of work: 9am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday
- Fully expensed company van + tools
- £35,000 salary plus pension
- Driving licence required
