RA Mobile Tyres Ltd is a fast-growing, highly-rated mobile tyre service based in Manchester. We are seeking enthusiastic, skilled, and customer-focused Tyre Technicians and Mobile Fitters to join our dedicated team. We have immediate openings for both in-house workshop roles and mobile fitting roles covering the Greater Manchester area.
About the Role
As a Tyre Technician or Mobile Fitter, you will be responsible for providing expert tyre services to our private and commercial customers. This role requires precision, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Tyre Fitting & Balancing: Professionally fitting and balancing new tyres to a wide range of vehicles (cars, vans, light commercial (Sprinter and Transit ETC)).
- Puncture Repair: Carrying out safe, high-quality puncture repairs in line with British Standards.
- Wheel Alignment: Performing accurate wheel alignment checks and adjustments (training provided for in-house roles).
- Mobile Service (Fitter Role): Driving a fully-equipped company van to customer locations (homes, workplaces, roadside) and completing all necessary tyre services efficiently.
- Customer Service: Providing clear communication, professional advice, and a friendly service experience at all times.
- Health & Safety: Adhering strictly to all workplace and roadside safety procedures.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Experience: Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter/Technician (minimum 5 year preferred).
- Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (Clean Licence essential for Mobile Fitter role).
- Skills: Ability to work on high-performance and run-flat tyres is a major advantage.
- Attitude: Highly self-motivated, organized, and reliable, with a strong commitment to punctuality.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills.
