Where will you be working?
With 3 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Ltd. We provide our business with more than 9,000 vehicles and over 25,000 owned or externally hired plant assets.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you’ll support the delivery of accurate internal hire invoicing across M Group business units, ensuring transparency and alignment with customers ahead of month-end submissions. You’ll also be responsible for producing timely and accurate monthly stock valuations, alongside collating and developing financial, safety, and stock reports for Finance and senior stakeholders.
You’ll play a key part in supporting the Capital Expenditure process for plant and equipment, working closely with the management team, as well as assisting with pricing and forecasting by liaising with bids and project teams. In addition, you’ll review existing hire rates to ensure expected income is achieved, identifying any discrepancies and proposing effective solutions.
What you’ll bring
- Confident user of Microsoft Office packages
- Highly IT literate, with the ability to analyse and interpret data
- Proven ability to handle and maintain confidential information with discretion
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience in compiling reports and producing accurate, data-driven forecasts and plans for the department
