Job Summary
We are a well-established Outstanding children’s day nursery in Outwood, Wakefield and we are looking for a nursery practitioner to join our team.
This is a permanent full-time position and you will be taking care of children aged 9 months to 4 years. A key part of the role is planning, implementing and evaluating high quality, flexible and innovative educational programs for children .We are looking for a caring individual who is happy playing with babies and can communicate well with parents.
To succeed in this position you will need:
- at least one year experience working in childcare
- a first aid certificate is preferred
- a CRB check will be undertaken for the successful candidate
- a genuine interest in working with children
- the ability to form warm, responsive relationships with children
- and have a positive, friendly attitude.
- high-level verbal and written communication skills
- Be used to working with the EYFS curriculum
- To create a stimulating environment for the children to learn in and be able to use your initiative and have the capacity to work in a team with minimal supervision.
You will be working in great conditions, with a well established friendly team
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for a level 3 qualification in Child care
