J B Tool Hire Ltd, a well-established tool and plant hire company, is looking for a reliable 7.5 tonne Driver (Cat C1) to join our team at our Loughborough depot.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving deliveries, collections, and customer interaction.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Every other Saturday: 7:30am – 12:00pm
The Role
- Delivering and collecting tools and plant equipment using a 3.5-7.5 tonne vehicle
- Ensuring safe loading and unloading of equipment
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
- Assisting in the depot and yard when required
- Working in line with health & safety and transport regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Cat C1 licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous 3.5-7.5 tonne / Driving experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit for manual handling
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience within tool or plant hire
- Local area knowledge
