Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Class 1 Car Transporter Driver's to join our team. The position is 4 days on and 4 days off based in Hartlepool.
Salary is £48,000 PA plus nights out (spent in cab) + Night out allowance
22 days holiday per year.
Workplace pension with Aegon (enrolment after 13 weeks service).
Duties:
- Collection and delivery of vehicles all over the UK
- Load and unload vehicles following proper safety procedures
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs and records
- Communicate effectively with transport planners and team members
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record preferred (6 points max)
- 1 years Car Transporter Experience (minimum)
- Valid Drivers Qualification (Driver CPC) card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Position will be based at Hartlepool (Truck parked at Hartlepool at end of shift)
- Drivers will be required to have 3 nights out in truck cab per shift
- Ability to drive long hours and travel long distances
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
