Love variety? You’ll love this role. This is not a job for someone who wants every day to look the same.
As a Learning Assistant at Banstead Prep, you will be based in a specific year group to begin with, but over time you may move to support different classes as needs evolve. This is a role for someone who enjoys flexibility and being part of the wider life of the school, stepping into classrooms, supporting individuals and small groups, joining trips, and helping with the events and activities that make school life so exciting.
We are looking for someone who is:
Highly adaptable and comfortable with change.
Energetic with a can‑do attitude.
Positive and proactive, ready to take on a wide variety of tasks.
Confident supporting different age groups as your role develops.
Committed to learning, wellbeing and enrichment in equal measure.
A collaborative team player with a genuine desire to make a difference.
In return, we can offer:
A role that places you at the heart of school life, with opportunities to work across different year groups over time.
A supportive, friendly and lively working environment.
A rewarding position where your contribution is valued.
If you’re excited by a role that blends classroom support, small‑group work, and the buzz of trips and whole‑school activities, we’d love to hear from you. Please see our job description for full details.

Our broad, exciting curriculum inspires curiosity and goes beyond the academics — we teach skills for life alongside a rich range of core subjects.
We offer exceptional facilities, including a state‑of‑the‑art STEM centre and expansive sports spaces, featuring a full‑sized astro pitch. Our active and supportive parent community plays an integral role in school life, helping fund initiatives such as new climbing frames and library enhancements.
We have a strong, supportive staff team who love to share ideas and initiatives. Staff turnover is very low and satisfaction is high — this is a great opportunity to join us and get fully involved.
After 6 months, you will also have access to:
