Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window and Door fabricator to join our experienced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various roles involved in the fabrication of aluminum windows and doors for both residential and commercial properties. This role requires technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Fabricating and producing high quality aluminium windows, doors, rooflights and curtain walling etc.
- Operating machinery and hand tools
- Ensuring manufactured parts are produced in the most efficient and cost effective manner
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings / manuals to ensure precise fabrication.
- Adhere to strict health and safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining high levels of housekeeping at all times within the factory
- Be flexible in approach to work and accept reasonable requests to perform other tasks within your capability across the factory floor, for example loading vans, stacking profiles etc.
- Be flexible to assist our fitting teams from time to time.
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools and machinery.
- Experience and knowledge of window and door fabrication, particularly aluminium, would be desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and basic math calculations for measurements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Good organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good time keeping
