About Us
We're a fast-growing lighting supplier working with commercial, hospitality and retail projects across the UK. We've recently secured a major contract with a well-known international brand, with strong potential for further expansion — and our order book is growing fast.
It's currently a small, hands-on team — the two founders plus a remote marketing specialist — and we need someone reliable, sharp, and organised to grow with us.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both sales and operations day-to-day. No two days will look the same — you might be checking order details one morning and helping put together a client quote the next. You'll work closely with the founders, freeing them up to focus on winning and managing major accounts while you help keep the rest of the business running smoothly.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Checking and verifying order details and specifications before processing
- Placing and tracking purchase orders with suppliers
- Creating and managing delivery schedules, and keeping clients updated
- Coordinating timelines between production, suppliers and delivery to ensure orders arrive on time
- Supporting the sales process — helping prepare quotes, following up enquiries, liaising with clients
- General administrative and office support as needed
This is a genuine opportunity to learn the business from the ground up, working directly alongside the founders rather than sitting in a large team. As you build experience and we get to know each other, there's real scope for the role — and your pay — to grow alongside the business.
About You
- Highly organised, with a real eye for detail (mistakes on commercial orders cost time and money — and trust)
- Comfortable juggling priorities and switching between tasks
- Confident communicator — happy speaking with clients and suppliers
- Computer literate, comfortable picking up new systems and software
- Some experience or interest using AI tools to work more efficiently
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Lighting, electrical, or trade supply experience is a bonus, but not essential — we're more interested in attitude and ability to learn

Pay: £24,500.00-£26,500.00 per year
