Join the North West School Hire Team
At North West School Hire, we believe school facilities should be at the heart of the local community. Every evening and weekend, we help thousands of people enjoy sport, fitness, swimming and community activities by opening school facilities outside of school hours.
We're proud to be an independent school lettings company dedicated to supporting schools across the North West. With over 15 years of experience, we specialise in helping schools maximise the use of their facilities outside of school hours through exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping people and wants to play an important role in creating a fantastic experience for our customers.
The Role
As a School Leisure Assistant, you'll be the face of North West School Hire on site. You'll welcome customers, prepare facilities, keep the venue safe and secure, and ensure every booking runs smoothly from start to finish.
This is a lone-working position, so we're looking for someone who is confident working independently, takes ownership of their responsibilities and enjoys making a positive difference for our customers.
No two shifts are ever quite the same, but every shift gives you the opportunity to support local clubs, community groups and schools whilst helping create welcoming, safe and professional environments for everyone who visits.

- Completing operational checks and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Locking down the site correctly at the end of each shift, including alarms, lighting, windows and doors.
What We're Looking For
We're much more interested in attitude than experience. The ideal person will be someone who:

- Is reliable, punctual and someone we can depend on.
- Enjoys working independently and taking responsibility.
- Is friendly, approachable and confident speaking with customers.
- Stays calm under pressure and thinks proactively to solve problems.
