Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Hours: Full-time vacancy, various shifts available
Salary: Ranges from £26,000 - £49,000 inclusive of overtime and bonus
Benefits: Monthly bonus (target-based), pension contributions
About the Role
Operating a state of the art Airblast (man blast) machine to remove waste product from castings so they meet quality standards.
No experience needed. We train you from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Manually operate the blast hose aiming at the defective areas of the casting
- Check work meets quality standards
- Keep your area safe and organised
- Follow simple instructions and work as part of a tight team
What You Need
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work safely around heavy materials
- Reliable and able to follow clear processes
Desirable
- Experience using manual shot blast (preferred) or automated shot blast machines
- Experience in a manufacturing or physical job, but not required
