Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Office/Accounts Assistant to support our administrative and financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various clerical tasks, maintaining organised records, and assisting with account-related activities. Responsibilities
- Managing daily administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing basic reports.
- Organising appointments, meetings, and maintaining schedules.
- Handling phone enquiries with professional etiquette and directing calls appropriately.
- Utilising Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to prepare documents, spreadsheets, and emails.
- Supporting the team with general clerical duties to ensure smooth office operations.
- Ensuring all documentation complies with organisational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Office experience or administrative experience is not essential. Full training will be given.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks.
- Good phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
