TEC Children’s Hub / The Elite Church is looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our children’s team as a Holiday Club / Before and After School Club Staff member.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and helping them have a safe, fun and positive experience before school, after school and during the school holidays.
You will support children with daily routines, activities, games, crafts, sports, creative play, wellbeing activities, Bible-based sessions, homework support, snacks, meals and outdoor play. You will help create a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued and encouraged.

Main Responsibilities
- Supervising children during before-school club, after-school club and holiday club sessions
- Supporting safe registration, arrival, handover and collection procedures
- Helping children settle into the setting and feel safe and included
- Supporting activities such as games, crafts, sports, reading, homework support, music, dance, Bible-based activities and outdoor play
- Assisting with breakfast, snacks, meals and drinks where provided
- Supporting children with positive behaviour, friendships and routines
- Helping with set-up, tidy-up and daily cleaning routines
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, food hygiene and behaviour procedures
- Reporting any concerns to the programme lead or safeguarding lead
- Supporting children with different needs, backgrounds and abilities
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team

Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare
- Willingness to complete required checks and training
- Ability to follow policies, procedures and instructions
Desirable but Not Essential
- Childcare, playwork, youth work, teaching assistant or early years qualification
- Paediatric First Aid certificate
- Food Hygiene certificate
- Safeguarding training
- Experience supporting children with SEND
- Experience in breakfast club, after school club, holiday club, HAF provision, church children’s ministry or community activities
