Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organized Business Administrator to join our dynamic team and support Varfell Farms with business administrations .
Operations Tasks
- Maintain company databases and spreadsheets.
- Organise and maintain filing systems both paper and electronic.
- Support procurement tasks.
- Maintain KPI’s
- Monitor vehicle compliance.
- Assist in key areas with department secondment.
- Managing in coming calls, emails and general correspondence
- Monitoring any delivery or invoice discrepancies and reporting the day-to-day positions and resolving queries.
- Monitoring debit notes and reporting weekly on the debit note position.
- Liaising with the finance department to ensure all deliveries are billed accurately and on time.
- Maintain the process of bill of materials in the ERP system.
- Maintain all products and selling prices within the EDI and ERP system.
- Maintain all guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Complete operational checks on ERP and supply chain processes, provide training and support where necessary.
- Prepare daily, weekly and adhoc reports for your line manager as required.
Ensure customer specific standards on documentation and data entered in portals is accurate and meets the standards expected of both the business and our customers
Miscellaneous
- To be willing to assist other departments during the season, as required by your line manager.
- To maintain a clean and tidy work environment, whilst following the company ‘Clean as You Go’ policy and complying with the company’s hygiene policy.
- To be aware of your own responsibilities for health & Safety and to play an active part in ensuring that you, and others follow the company Health and Safety policy at all times.
- To be aware of your responsibilities to other employees at Varfell Farms Ltd by endorsing Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety and ensuring proper standards of employment are maintained, whilst highlighting any concerns regarding other employees conduct or wellbeing to their immediate Line Manager.
- To ensure that all faults to IT equipment are reported to the IT Manager immediately.
- Manage your hours worked to ensure legal parameters are not exceeded and not to exceed 60 hours during the working week.
To play an active role in the development of your department and the Company by discussing any identified opportunities for improvement in full and assisting in their introduction
