Go Tutors is a Childcare and educational organisation delivering early years provision, supplementary tuition, and educational management professional with both operational oversight and curriculum expertise.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Supervisor to oversee educational programmes and support students in achieving their academic goals. This role offers an opportunity to mentor, tutor, and inspire learners, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Duties
- Observe teaching sessions, provide constructive feedback, and inspire your team to reach their full potential.
- Track student attendance, engagement, and academic achievements.
- Planning workloads, allocating tasks and monitoring progress against targets with students and teachers.
- Briefing tutors on new initiatives, changes to targets and company news
- Maintaining safety standards, conducting risk assessments and Working on Students Schedules.
- Devising teacher schedules and implementing deadlines
- Ensuring that teaching quality standards are upheld
- Conducting performance reviews with parents and children.
- Manage teacher performance, monitor classroom effectiveness, and implement strategies to improve teaching quality and student outcomes.
- Ensure the centre is fully stocked with learning tools, books, and curriculum materials.
- Supervise students' and teachers' time management during and after breaks, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Oversee new admission assessments by ensuring timely checking, marking, and submission to the Admin team.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability in tutoring and mentoring diverse learners with varying needs.
- Creative writing skills to develop engaging educational content and activities.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support are preferred but not essential.
Desirable
- Paediatric first aid Certificate
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Background in special education or related fields
