The Bear at Tattenhall is growing its Front of House team. We’re an independent countryside pub, restaurant and eight-bedroom inn in the heart of Cheshire, developing The Bear around excellent modern British food, a serious drinks programme and warm, genuine hospitality. We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join our restaurant and bar team. Whether you already have hospitality experience or are looking for your first job in the industry, we’d like to hear from you. The roleDepending on your experience, you’ll work across our restaurant, bar and events operation. Your responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming guests
- Taking food and drink orders
- Running food and drinks
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Learning our menus and making recommendations
- Serving wine, beer, spirits and cocktails
- Preparing the restaurant and bar for service
- Supporting weddings, private dining and events
- Maintaining excellent cleanliness and presentation
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider team
No experience? That’s fine for some positions. For our junior Front of House and food-runner roles, we can teach you the technical skills. What we need from you is reliability, energy, confidence and a willingness to learn. Experienced? We also want to hear from experienced waiters and bartenders who can take their own section, provide excellent guest service and bring good food and drinks knowledge to the team. There will be opportunities to develop into senior Front of House and supervisory positions. Who we’re looking forYou should be:
