Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Spray Shop Operative to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing a range of products to a high-quality standard while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Previous experience in an industrial spray shop is desirable, but full training can be provided for the right candidate with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare products for painting, including cleaning, masking, and sanding.
- Apply paint and coatings using spray equipment to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Maintain spray booths, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
- Assist with general workshop duties when required.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in spray painting or a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
