We are looking for a motivated individual whose eager to learn to join our tight-knit team as an order picker and checker.
No prior experience is required - Just a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude!
The salary is set according to national wage guidelines and may vary depending on factors such as experience.
Your role will include, but is not exclusive to; Picking & Checking orders for our customers from picking sheets in multi temperature environments, ranging from Ambient, Chilled and Frozen. Assisting our day team with putting away any stock which has come in during the day and maintaining general cleanliness of the depot and work areas.
Full warm PPE is provided.
The shift is a permanent, full time position which is Sunday to Thursday, 10:30am Start - 19:00pm including a 60 minute unpaid break. Guaranteed 37.5 hours a week. You are required to work bank holidays (NOT Christmas day) alternative days are offered in lieu for others. During the summer holidays, your shift will change to 11:30am - 20:00pm.
We are a family run and owned business operating in the Portsmouth, PO3 area where employees are known by name and not payroll number.

+ Responsible & Reliable with a can do, good, no fuss attitude
+ Able to follow instructions and ensure work is carried out safely and to standards.
+ Physically fit / strong, as heavy lifting is required of up to 25kg.
+ Able to work in a team or independently
+ A good understanding of English language, written and verbal
