We are looking for a warehouse operative to carry out general warehouse duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager. To be aware of, and follow, warehouse safety procedures. To work efficiently and effectively with members of the warehouse and the wider team.
Duties include:
- Check incoming stock shipments to ensure they are correct and no there are no losses or damage
- Check goods in correctly
- Correctly locate stock in accordance with Sage
- To use the Sage 200 system for the requirements of the role
- Process works orders for internal group companies
- To provide accurate and prompt picking and packing for dispatch
- Carry out quality control and to count and record stock checks
- To be responsible for completion and prompt submission of all related paperwork and the provision of other information as requested
- To achieve the targets and job standards set out by the business
- To develop good working relationships with colleagues
- Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
- To communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, other warehouse staff and customers, including associated companies
- Ensure that own work area and the warehouse overall is kept clean and tidy
- Work safely at all times in accordance with Legislative requirements and Company Policy and Procedures
- Forklift Truck Licence would be advantageous but not essential

- Full-time. 42.5 hours a week
- Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm (30 minutes lunch)
