Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
It is required for staff members to have a clean UK/EU driving licence. To support our Residents in the community.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Implement and adhere to individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour.
- Support clients in social and recreational activities to promote engagement and well-being.
- Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to follow care plans meticulously and adapt to changing client needs.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients.
- A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication are beneficial.
