Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick fabric orders using handheld scanners and warehouse systems.
- Measure, cut, and prepare fabric orders to customer requirements (full training provided).
- Pack customer orders securely and efficiently for dispatch.
- Label and prepare parcels for courier collection.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure orders are accurate and meet company standards.
- Receive and put away stock deliveries into designated warehouse locations.
- Organise and replenish stock to maintain efficient picking locations.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and health & safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily targets and customer delivery deadlines.
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse, picking, packing, retail, or logistics experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Comfortable being active throughout the working day.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and experience using scanners or warehouse systems would be advantageous.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
