Kitchen Pod Hire provides high-quality temporary kitchen and bathroom pods to homeowners and insurance clients across Northern Ireland and Ireland during renovations and insurance reinstatement works. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and helping families stay comfortably in their homes during what can often be a stressful time.
We're looking for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants to play an important role in a growing business. You'll be a trusted representative of the business, delivering and installing pods and modular units, maintaining our fleet and equipment, supporting customers, and helping ensure our operations run smoothly every day.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver, install and collect fleet of pods and modular units across Northern Ireland and Ireland.
- Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and basic repairs to pods.
- Support customers during their hire period, including responding to operational issues and gas bottle changes.
- Maintain a safe, organised yard, company vehicles and operational equipment.
- Manage stock of consumables and help prepare pods for their next hire.
- Represent Kitchen Pod Hire professionally and provide outstanding customer service on every visit.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
We're looking for someone who is:
Essential
- Holds a full UK driving licence with trailer entitlement (B+E or equivalent).
- Practical, reliable and enjoys hands-on work.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership.
- A confident communicator who enjoys helping customers.
- Organised, proactive and able to solve problems calmly.
Desirable
- Experience in logistics, deliveries, maintenance, facilities, construction or a trade.
- Basic DIY or maintenance skills.
- Experience towing trailers.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and pride in doing a job properly.
Pay: From £27,300.00 per year
