Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our small family run logistics company, the right candidate must have a can do attitude and the ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing enviroment.
A flexibale approach to working, working afternoons, we are flexible with days but some flexibility will be required to support business requirements. This will eventaully become a full time post.
The role will include some warehouse work as well as driving a van doing local collections or dedicated deliveries which could be further away.
Duties
- Manage inventory using a warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Perform materials handling tasks, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Driving a 3.5T van on local collections as well as longer distance work
Experience
- Previous experience driving a van is desirable
- Must have excellent customer service skills, as you will collecting parcels from a regular round of customers.
Due to insurance particulars must be over the age of 25, must have a full UK clean licence.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
