What you’ll be working on
We are looking for a Parts Advisor for our cinch store in Derby. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for ordering parts and consumables as well as storing and issuing parts to the workshop. This is an ideal role for a candidate with previous experience of working as a stock controller or parts administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Booking goods into the system, cross-referring vehicle parts, liaise with the stock team to order required parts, completing stock checks both physical stock holding and system balances.
- Answer all email and telephone queries, complete weekly reports and all relevant paperwork, assist in the provision of quality administrative support to the workshop
- Maintain all systems ensuring that adequate and appropriate records are created and maintained
- Ensuring that work is carried out efficiently to ensure deadlines are met
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Previous experience within the automotive sector
- Computer literate with experience in using Excel
- Strong communicative skills – speaking, reading and writing
- Excellent numerical and literacy skills
- You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
- Excellent attention to detail
