Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our Pub team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection for breakfast offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to management
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to health and safety policies, including proper handling and storage of food items
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods, including meal preparation and serving when required
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a kitchen assistant within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques specific to breakfast dishes and meal preparation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a professional kitchen setting
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in roles involving serving or direct guest interaction
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

Pay: £12.21-£19.30 per hour
