We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves managing access control, monitoring activity through surveillance systems, and responding effectively to any incidents. Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Utilise CCTV systems for surveillance purposes, ensuring continuous observation of key areas
- Enforce licensing laws and venue policies in a professional manner
- Assist with loss prevention by observing suspicious activity and intervening when necessary
- Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid if required and liaising with emergency services when appropriate
- Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities
- Support crowd control during events or busy periods, ensuring the safety of all attendees
- Conduct bag searches or frisking in line with legal requirements and company policies
Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (essential)
- Experience with surveillance systems such as CCTV (desirable)
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
- Basic first aid certification (preferred) but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage courteously with the public and team members
- Organised with strong observational skills to identify potential issues proactively
- Physically fit to perform patrols, manage crowds, and respond swiftly in emergencies
