Job Description
Digital Content & Social Media
- Create and schedule engaging content across WJ Group's social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, X and others)
- Monitor social media channels, engage with audiences and report on performance metrics
- Support the development of content aligned with the group's ABM strategy
Website & SEO
- Assist with updating and maintaining content across multiple WJ Group websites
- Support the delivery of the SEO programme, including keyword research and on-page optimisation
- Track website performance using Google Analytics and provide regular reporting
Campaigns & Email Marketing
- Support the planning and execution of digital campaigns across paid and organic channels
- Assist with email marketing campaigns including content creation, scheduling and performance reporting
- Contribute to pay-per-click (PPC) activity under the guidance of the Digital Marketing Lead
General Marketing Support
- Work collaboratively across all WJ Group business streams to understand and support their marketing needs
- Assist with the production of digital marketing materials and sales collateral
- Stay current with digital marketing trends, tools and best practices
About you
Essential
- A degree, placement, internship, freelance work or practical experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications, media, content creation, business or a related field.
- A genuine passion for digital marketing and understanding of key digital channels
- Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail and tone
- Organised and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working with data and drawing basic insights from analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms
Desirable
- Practical experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Hootsuite or similar
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and basic HTML
- Knowledge of SEO principles and email marketing platforms
- Previous internship, placement or freelance digital marketing experience
- Full UK driving licence
