The Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to take ownership of our core retail relationships across home and export markets.
You will be the main day-to-day contact for key customers, responsible for building strong relationships, growing existing accounts and delivering excellent customer service. You will work closely with buyers and our internal Sales, Marketing and Administration teams to turn opportunities into sales and ensure a seamless customer journey.
The role also requires someone to contribute to export market development and the wider commercial strategy, making it ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management
- Act as the main point of contact for key retail accounts across home and export markets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with buyers and stockists.
- Understand customer needs and identify opportunities to grow sales, distribution and range.
- Develop and implement account plans to consistently achieve growth targets.
- Manage buyer communications, including ranges, promotions, pricing and orders.
Commercial Growth
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and support the development of export markets.
- Work with key stockists on joint business plans and range expansion.
- Use customer and market insight to make commercial recommendations.
- Contribute to wider sales and business strategy.
Marketing & Operations
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to deliver relevant POS, marketing assets and campaign support.
- Finalise commercial and order details with buyers and ensure accurate handover to the Sales Administrator.
- Work collaboratively across the business to ensure excellent customer service and smooth order fulfilment.
What Are We Looking For?
- 2+ years' experience in key account management, ideally within wholesale or retail.
- Experience managing established retail accounts and ideally some exposure to export markets.
- Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
- A proven ability to grow accounts and identify commercial opportunities.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with the confidence to work independently.
- A willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
