Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for managing staff, communicating with parents, and ensuring the well-being and development of the children in our care. The ideal candidate will have a background in childcare and possess strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise nursery staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and address any concerns
- Plan and coordinate age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote early childhood development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, enrollment, and other administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and regulations
- Oversee the maintenance of the nursery facility, including cleanliness and safety measures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in childcare or early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with parents, staff, and children
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and inspire a team
- Valid driver's license for occasional transportation needs
- Proficiency in English language
