Key Responsibilities
- Civil and structural design of new or modified elements.
- Production or checking of design calculations.
- Production of design drawings, when required to support the drafting team.
- Work professionally within a multi-discipline engineering team and with external clients and other stakeholders.
- Work in accordance with agreed project scopes and budgets.
- Attend client meetings, technical reviews, and support progress reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and company procedures.
- Support business development activities and identify opportunities with existing and new clients.
What We're Looking For
- Degree or equivalent qualification in civil or structural engineering.
- Proven experience in a civil & structural engineering role.
- [Structural design experience in steel and reinforced concrete is considered essential. Experience in assessment of existing structures and design of remedial works would be advantageous. Ability to use 3D structural modelling software and AutoCAD would also be advantageous.]
- Experience working on projects within process industries, energy, chemicals, terminals or related sectors – including other industrial sectors.
[Our projects are typically process or piping led design projects, where the civil & structural engineering elements support these disciplines. Some projects are civil & structural led design projects. Most projects involve a mix of assessment of existing industrial infrastructure, along with design of new elements or remedial works to existing elements.]
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage your time across multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
