We're looking for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join a well-established specialist in pumping equipment solutions with over 60 years' industry experience.
Covering Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire, you'll work on pumping equipment across wastewater sites, carrying out servicing, fault finding, commissioning and installation alongside an experienced Mechanical Engineer.
The role would suit an electrically qualified engineer from an industrial background, with experience in control systems, motors, drives, machinery, manufacturing, utilities or similar environments. Pump experience is advantageous but not essential.
Company van, training, excellent benefits and minimal overnight stays (typically once every fortnight) are included.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!
What you’ll be doing
- Electrical servicing, installation and commissioning of pumping equipment
- Fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance
- Working on pumps, pumping stations, kiosks, control panels and monitoring systems
- Carrying out inspections and performance checks
- Responding to breakdowns and service calls
- Completing site reports and service documentation
- Providing excellent customer service on site
- Maintaining company vehicle, tools and equipment
Hours
Monday-Friday, Day Shifts, 40 hours per week (flexibility required)
Pay
- Basic salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- With overtime, most engineers earn up to £60,000 per annum
- Overtime paid at enhanced rates
- Annual performance bonuses (approx. £1,300 per year)
Skills/Experience Required
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- 18th Edition
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Happy travelling throughout the region with occasional overnight stays
