We are searching for a Linen Assistant to join our Rudding Park Team. You will be responsibile for ensuring the highest level of housekeeping service in all areas at all times.

Job Summary
To assist Room Attendants with linen movement & prepare rooms for servicing. This is a hands-on, physically active role involving lifting, carrying, and being on your feet for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure linen room is tidy & organised at all times
- Daily count of Dirty Bathrobes & Kitchen cloths for stock control
- Empty new linen cages into office & restock cupboards
- Strip used linen & towels from departing bedrooms ahead of the room attendants, emptying both bins & putting used cups etc. in hot soapy water to soak
- Assist with Twinning/ Doubling of beds as required
- Weekly cleans of internal bedroom windows
- Weekly cleans of Terraces/ balconies incl. washing down window frames
- Restocking of 'Pantries' when set up
- Movement of Extra Beds & Cots etc. as required daily
- Ensure corridors & staircases are clear of hazards (extra beds etc.)
- Additional ad hoc duties as required by the Housekeeping Management Team
GENERAL
- Be responsible for Health and Safety as an individual and also to work colleagues, customers and the business, reporting concerns through the Health and Safety processes and procedures.
- Ensure continuous professional development of self, including attending required training courses and seeking means of developing within the business
- Promote continuous improvement in the level of quality and customer care provided by the business and make proposals/suggestions where applicable
- Respect colleagues and the working environment at all times.
- Ensure high standard of dress and self-presentation within the working environment
- Undertake any other duties commensurate within the position for which you are qualified.
In return for your hard work and commitment we offer:
- Enhanced pay - 50p per hour for evening work after 7pm (Sunday - Thursday), £1 per hour for weekend day work until 7pm (Saturdays and Sundays), £1.50 per hour for evenings from 7pm (Friday and Saturdays)
- Service Charge (Tronc) earn up to an additional £5,000 per year
