Duties
- Use hand tools and power tools to plant, prune, mow, edge, and maintain a variety of garden beds, lawns, and landscape features
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering and plant health
- Assist with landscape design projects by preparing soil, planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, fertilizing, and pest control
- Monitor plant growth and health, applying horticultural best practices to promote vigorous development
- Support growing experience by learning new techniques in gardening and landscape management
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and safety standards during all landscaping activities
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems used in landscape maintenance
- Growing experience in gardening or horticulture with a solid understanding of plant care principles
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including pruning, mowing, fertilizing, and pest management
- Strong gardening skills complemented by a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces
