We are looking to employ a highly skilled Senior Bench Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our factory team. The successful candidate will be capable of working to an exceptionally high standard within a clean and structured workshop environment, producing high-end bespoke joinery and cabinetry from detailed technical drawings.
Attention to detail is paramount, and the role requires strong experience in all aspects of cabinet making and joinery, ensuring work is completed accurately and to the highest quality standards expected within luxury residential, commercial, and specialist interior sectors.
Working with a vast range of materials, including various species of solid timbers, timber veneers and a range of sheet materials.
As a senior member of the team, the successful candidate will take a hands-on role in the manufacture and assembly of complex bespoke joinery items while supporting and guiding other members of the workshop team, including apprentices. Proven experience working as a bench joiner within the high-end bespoke joinery sector is essential, and site installation experience of the cabinetry you have manufactured is also beneficial.
Key tasks:
- Minimum of 5 years’ minimum experience within the joinery trade
- Maintain high quality standards throughout manufacture and assembly
- Experience supporting or training apprentices is beneficial
- Process-driven with good time management
- Methodical approach with strong attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Work from technical and production drawings to manufacture bespoke joinery
- Solid Surface fabrication experience preferred (training can be provided)
- Punctual, reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Proactive with good problem-solving ability
- Experience operating woodworking machinery
- Willing to assist other departments during busy periods
- Assemble bespoke joinery including cabinetry, panelling, doors and specialist furniture
- Work with production management to meet programme deadlines

Desired skills & expertise:
- Experience working within a high-end bespoke joinery workshop environment
- Ability to confidently read and interpret detailed technical and production drawings
- Experience manufacturing bespoke cabinetry, furniture, and architectural joinery items
- Strong knowledge of workshop machinery and hand tools used in bench joinery
- Ability to work accurately to tight tolerances while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Competent in the use of hand tools and power tools, with the expectation that the candidate provides their own hand tools
- A methodical approach to work with excellent attention to detail
- A clean full UK driver’s licence / own means of transport
